30-Minute Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry

This recipe is not just visually appealing but also packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. With its ease of preparation and customizable flavors, it's perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings. Ingredients
  

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas

1 medium carrot, julienned

3 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice or noodles, for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Beef:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the beef slices, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

      Prepare the Vegetables:

        - Wash and chop the red bell pepper, broccoli florets, snap peas, and carrot. Set them aside in a bowl to keep everything organized.

          Heat the Oil:

            - In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it's shimmering but not smoking.

              Cook the Beef:

                - Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and slightly crispy. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once done, remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

                  Stir-Fry Vegetables:

                    - In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

                      - Add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli florets, snap peas, and carrots. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring frequently.

                        Combine & Finish:

                          - Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir everything together for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top.

                            Serve:

                              - Remove from heat and serve your Stir-Fry hot over cooked rice or noodles, if desired. Enjoy your flavorful and healthy meal!
