Ingredients

2 medium zucchinis

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for a cheesy version)

Instructions

Prepare the Zucchini: Wash and dry the zucchinis. Cut off the ends, then slice them into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick) for the best crispiness. Place the slices in a large bowl.

Flavor the Chips: In a separate small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Pour this mixture over the zucchini slices and toss well to ensure every piece is coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes while you prepare the zucchini.

Arrange the Zucchini: In a single layer, arrange the zucchini slices in the air fryer basket. Make sure there is some space between each slice for even cooking. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

Air Fry: Cook the zucchini chips in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. Keep an eye on them in the last few minutes to avoid burning, as cooking times can vary.

Add Cheese (Optional): If you’re making the cheesy version, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chips during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Cool and Serve: Once the zucchini chips are golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes. This helps maintain their crunch.

Enjoy: Serve the zucchini garlic chips warm as a tasty snack or a side dish. Pair with your favorite dip or enjoy them plain for a healthy treat!
