Ingredients

2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon black pepper (freshly ground)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)

Freshly chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it hasn't been done already. This will help the flavors penetrate the meat and ensure tenderness.

Make the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk until well blended.

Marinate the Ribs: Place the ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, making sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Arrange Ribs in Air Fryer: Remove the ribs from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Place the ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cut the ribs into sections to fit.

Cooking: Air fry the ribs for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. If you like a crispy texture, increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 5 minutes.

Finish with Glaze: In the final minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with any remaining marinade for added flavor and caramelization.

Rest and Serve: Once done, remove the ribs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, then slice and serve.
