1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 cup bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces (mix of colors for presentation)

1 cup red onion, cut into 1-inch chunks

Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the cubed chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).

    Prepare the Skewers: If you’re using wooden skewers, make sure they have soaked in water to prevent burning. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of bell pepper and red onion for a colorful presentation.

      Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

        Arrange in the Air Fryer: Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring there is space between them for even cooking. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

          Cook the Skewers: Air fry the skewers for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should be golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
