Ingredients
  

1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn tortillas

1 avocado, diced

1 cup shredded red cabbage

½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 lime, cut into wedges

Optional: hot sauce, sour cream or yogurt for serving

Instructions
 

Preheat the Air Fryer: Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

    Prepare the Chickpeas: In a large bowl, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat the chickpeas evenly.

      Air Fry the Chickpeas: Place the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chickpeas are crispy and golden brown.

        Warm the Tortillas: In the last few minutes of cooking the chickpeas, you can warm the tortillas. Place them in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes until slightly charred and warm.

          Assemble the Tacos: Once the chickpeas are done cooking and the tortillas are warm, assemble the tacos by placing a generous scoop of crispy chickpeas onto each tortilla. Top with diced avocado, shredded cabbage, and fresh cilantro.
