Air Fryer Veggie Pizza Bites

1 cup store-bought pizza dough (or homemade)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup sliced bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup chopped spinach

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Olive oil spray

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

    Prepare the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out small circles (about 2-3 inches in diameter).

      Assemble the Bites: Lay out half of the dough circles on a parchment-lined tray. Spoon a small amount (about 1 teaspoon) of pizza sauce onto the center of each circle. Top with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese, and then add your desired veggie toppings - bell peppers, olives, and spinach.

        Top with More Dough: Take the remaining dough circles and place them on top of the filled circles to create little pizza pockets. Gently press down the edges to seal them. If desired, you can crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.

          Season: Lightly spray the tops of the pizza bites with olive oil spray. Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder on top for added flavor.

            Air Fry: Place the pizza bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

              Serve: Carefully remove the pizza bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
