Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish

Optional: Dipping sauce (like Greek yogurt or spicy mayo)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Slice the sweet potatoes into wedges by cutting them in half lengthwise, and then cutting each half into 4-6 wedges, depending on your desired thickness.

Season the Wedges: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, sea salt, and black pepper. Add the sweet potato wedges to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated in the spice mixture.

Bake: Spread the seasoned sweet potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden-brown and crispy on the outside.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
