Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Melt the Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, add the unsalted butter. Allow it to melt slowly to prevent burning. Stir occasionally.

Add Garlic: Once the butter is melted and bubbly, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant but not browned, as burnt garlic can impart a bitter flavor.

Incorporate Spices: Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine the spices with the garlic and butter mixture. Continue to cook for another 1–2 minutes to enhance the flavors.

Finish It Off: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the fresh lemon juice for a zesty finish, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl or drizzle over your favorite grilled meats, seafood, pasta, or vegetables. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for an added touch of freshness.
