Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls

4 large eggs

1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Extra cinnamon rolls icing (for drizzling on top)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters and place them in the prepared baking dish. If desired, sprinkle the chopped pecans and raisins evenly throughout.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt until well combined.

Combine: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish. Use a spatula to gently push the rolls down into the liquid, ensuring they are well-coated.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.

Cool and Drizzle: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5-10 minutes. Drizzle the reserved cinnamon roll icing over the top while still warm.

Serve & Enjoy: Cut the casserole into squares and serve warm, either on its own or with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you're feeling indulgent!
