6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

4 cups mini marshmallows (plus a few extra for topping)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt (optional)

Prep the Pan: Begin by greasing a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter to ensure the treats don’t stick.

    Melt the Butter: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Stir in the mini marshmallows continuously until completely melted and smooth.

      Flavor It Up: Once the marshmallows are melted and combined with the butter, add in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt (if using) for an extra burst of flavor. Stir until well mixed.

        Combine with Rice Krispies: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Quickly add the 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal into the marshmallow mixture. Gently fold the cereal into the mixture using a spatula to avoid crushing the rice cereal too much. Ensure all the cereal is well coated.
