1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

8 oz (225g) fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets into the boiling pasta water during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In the same skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant—do not burn. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to mix with the garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer.

        Add Cheese: Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream. Stir continuously until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of pasta water to reach desired consistency.

          Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked chicken and drained pasta and broccoli back into the skillet. Toss everything together gently until the pasta and broccoli are coated with the creamy sauce. If using, sprinkle in the red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
