1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy, your choice)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or butter.

    Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

      Make the Filling: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and well combined with the sausage. Add the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until everything is creamy and well incorporated.

        Prepare the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

          Fill the Dough: Place a generous tablespoon of the sausage filling at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the point, encasing the filling as you go. Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

            Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown and flaky.
