1 package (9 ounces) cheese tortellini

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained

1/2 cup vegetable broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
