4 medium russet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Prep the Potatoes: Start by washing and peeling the russet potatoes. Cut them into even-sized wedges or sticks (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick) to ensure even cooking.

    Soak the Fries: To remove excess starch and increase crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes. Drain and pat them dry thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel.

      Season the Potatoes: In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the dried potato wedges to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss well to coat all the fries evenly with the oil and seasoning mixture.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

          Air Fry the Fries: Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to do this in batches). Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
