Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Gruyère cheese

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Shrimp: In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they're pink and just cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove from heat.

Make the Cream Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and half of the Gruyère cheese. Stir in the shrimp mixture until well coated.

Assemble the Gratin: Spoon the shrimp and cream mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread it evenly across the bottom. In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the remaining Gruyère and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the shrimp.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired. Enjoy your delicious garlic shrimp gratin!
