2 cups uncooked penne pasta

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

3 cups water

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Combine Ingredients: In a large 9x13 inch baking dish, add the frozen meatballs, uncooked penne pasta, marinara sauce, and water. Gently stir to combine until the pasta is mostly submerged.

Season It Up: Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture. Stir again to ensure even distribution of the spices.

Add Cheeses: Dot spoonfuls of ricotta cheese evenly over the top of the meatball mixture. Then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top for that cheesy goodness.

Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.

Uncover and Brown: After 35 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, take the casserole out of the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm and watch your family devour this deliciously easy casserole!
