Ingredients

12 oz (340g) penne pasta

2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente (usually about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt. Stir until everything is well-coated.

Layer in Baking Dish: Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish: Once out of the oven, let the dish rest for 5 minutes. Then, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a touch of color and freshness.

Serve and Enjoy: Dish out generous portions and serve warm. This dish pairs wonderfully with a simple salad or garlic bread.
