To achieve the perfect Creamy Chicken Alfredo Delight, cooking the fettuccine correctly is essential. The goal is to achieve al dente pasta, which means the pasta is cooked but still has a slight firmness when bitten. Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken strips with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.

Add Cheese: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

Combine Chicken and Pasta: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained fettuccine pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the Alfredo sauce. Adjust seasoning with extra salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Plate the creamy chicken Alfredo pasta, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately while hot. Enjoy!
