Ingredients

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing well until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Everything: Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to combine and coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Serve: Top the creamy chicken Alfredo with sliced chicken breasts and sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for garnish. Serve immediately while hot.
