1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup powdered sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup creamy peanut butter (optional for added flavor)

½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans, optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, unsweetened cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Mix until well incorporated.

    Add Butter: Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until everything is blended. The mixture should resemble wet sand but stick together when pressed.

      Press the Mixture: Line an 8x8-inch (or similar-sized) baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the dish, creating an even layer. Use the back of a spoon or your hands to compact it tightly.

        Add Layer of Marshmallows: Evenly distribute the mini marshmallows over the graham cracker base, pressing them down lightly to ensure they adhere.

          Melt Chocolate Layer: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter (if using). Melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and fully melted.

            Spread the Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the marshmallow layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula to cover all of the marshmallows.

              Optional Topping: If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts over the chocolate layer for added crunch and flavor.

                Chill: Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set and the bars are firm.
