3 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Juice of 1 lemon

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Zucchini: Rinse and dry the zucchinis. Cut off the ends, then slice them into half-moons about 1/4 inch thick for even cooking.

    Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.

      Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.
