Ingredients

2 medium ripe bananas

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup granola or crushed nuts (like almonds or walnuts)

A pinch of sea salt

Dark chocolate for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit: Peel the bananas and slice them into thick rounds, about 1/2 inch thick. Take the hulled strawberries and cut them in half.

Mix the Yogurt: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until smooth and well mixed.

Assemble the Bites: On a parchment-lined baking sheet, place a banana slice, then top it with a spoonful of the yogurt mixture. Add half a strawberry on top of the yogurt layer, making sure the cut side is facing down.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle a little granola or crushed nuts on top of each assembled bite for added texture.

Freeze the Bites: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1-2 hours or until the bites are completely frozen.

Drizzle with Chocolate (Optional): Melt some dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. Once melted, using a fork, drizzle the chocolate over the frozen bites lightly. Return to the freezer to set for an additional 15-30 minutes.

Serve and Enjoy: Once the chocolate has hardened, carefully peel the bites off the parchment. Enjoy them right away or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
