Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

⅓ cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ cup granola (for topping)

¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Fresh banana slices (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the ripe bananas and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the bananas using a fork or potato masher until smooth and creamy.

Combine Ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to the mashed bananas. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined and creamy.

Transfer to Pan: Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle the granola and chopped walnuts (if using) evenly over the yogurt mixture. Gently press them down into the mixture to ensure they stick when frozen.

Freeze: Cover the pan with plastic wrap or foil and place it in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely firm.

Cut into Bars: Once frozen solid, remove the pan from the freezer. Lift the frozen yogurt block out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut it into bars of your desired size.

Serve: Serve immediately, or store the bars in an airtight container in the freezer. Garnish with fresh banana slices before enjoying.
