4 large russet potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 1-inch thick slabs. You should end up with approximately 8 slabs per potato.

      Season the Potatoes: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the potato slabs to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoned oil mixture.

        Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the seasoned potato slabs on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap to allow for even roasting.

          Roast the Potatoes: Roast the potato slabs in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
