Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1/2 cup green chili salsa (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup spinach leaves, washed and dried

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

4 large flour tortillas or lettuce wraps for a low-carb option

1 avocado, sliced

1 tablespoon lime juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, green chili salsa, softened cream cheese, and lime juice. Mix until well blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Lay Out the Tortillas: On a clean, flat surface, lay out your tortillas. If using lettuce wraps, ensure the leaves are large and sturdy enough to hold the filling.

Layer the Ingredients: On each tortilla, spread a layer of the chicken mixture (about 1/4 of the mixture per wrap). Add a handful of spinach leaves, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, some avocado slices, and a few cilantro leaves on top.

Wrap it Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring all the filling stays inside.

Serve: Cut the wraps in half at a diagonal and serve immediately with extra salsa or your choice of dipping sauce on the side.

Optional Toaster Finish: If you prefer a crispy wrap, preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add a little oil, then place the wrapped tortillas seam-side down. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 15 minutes | Servings: 4 wraps
