Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

8 large romaine lettuce leaves (or butter lettuce for a softer texture)

½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup croutons, crushed (optional for added crunch)

Freshly squeezed lemon juice (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan indoors, heat it on medium-high as well.

Grill the Chicken: Once preheated, place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and has nice grill marks. Use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Let it Rest: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken juicy.

Prepare the Wraps: While the chicken is resting, wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves. These leaves will serve as your wraps.

Assemble the Wraps: Slice the grilled chicken into strips. Take a lettuce leaf, drizzle some Caesar dressing inside, add chicken strips, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed croutons if desired. Squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice on top for extra brightness.

Serve: Repeat the assembly for all lettuce leaves. Serve immediately as a fresh and light alternative to traditional Caesar salad or wraps.
