Ingredients

1 cup high-protein pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup turkey pepperoni, chopped

1/4 cup cottage cheese (for extra protein)

1/4 cup finely chopped bell peppers (any color)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon pizza seasoning

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped turkey pepperoni, cottage cheese, chopped bell peppers, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out your high-protein pizza dough to a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Cut into Squares: Use a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to cut the dough into 3-inch squares. You should have enough squares to make around 12 rolls.

Fill the Squares: Spoon a generous amount of the filling onto the center of each square. Be careful not to overfill, as the filling might leak out when baking.

Seal the Rolls: Gently fold the corners of each square towards the center, pinching them together to seal tightly. You can also roll them from one side to the other to form a log shape, ensuring the edges are sealed.

Brush with Olive Oil: Place the sealed rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each roll lightly with olive oil and sprinkle a little pizza seasoning on top for extra flavor.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Serve: Remove the pizza rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping!
