Ingredients

1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 package (30 count) wonton wrappers

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Assemble the Wonton Pies: Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface (you can cover the rest with a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out). Place about a tablespoon of the filling in the center of the wrapper.

Fold and Seal: Dip your finger in the beaten egg and trace the edges of the wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing the edges together firmly to seal. You can create a decorative edge by crimping the edges with a fork if desired. Continue this process with the remaining filling and wrappers.

Arrange on a Baking Sheet: Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line it with parchment paper. Arrange the sealed wonton pies on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil or the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the wonton pies are golden brown and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the mini pies from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm with extra Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping.
