Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

8 oz egg noodles (or your preferred type)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, minced

1 large onion, sliced

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

2 cups broccoli florets

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, cooking until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Break apart any clumps with a spatula.

Sauté Aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger to the beef. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Broccoli: Toss in the broccoli florets, stirring frequently for another 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli turns bright green and tender.

Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour this sauce over the beef and vegetable mixture in the skillet.

Combine Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until the noodles are fully coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serve: Remove from heat. Divide the Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles into bowls. Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Enjoy! Serve hot and enjoy your delicious homemade Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles!
