1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

16 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup granulated sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large eggs

½ cup sour cream

½ cup Nutella

2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later.

    Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form an even layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, then set aside to cool slightly.

      Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add in ½ cup of sugar and the vanilla extract, continuing to beat until well combined.

        Incorporate Eggs and Sour Cream: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the sour cream until fully combined and the mixture is velvety smooth.

          Swirl in Nutella: In a small microwave-safe bowl, warm the Nutella and heavy cream together for about 15-20 seconds or until slightly softened. Stir until smooth. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust, then spoon dollops of Nutella mixture over it. Use a knife to gently swirl the Nutella into the cheesecake batter. Pour the remaining cheesecake batter on top, followed by more spoonfuls of Nutella. Swirl again to create a marbled effect.

            Bake the Cheesecake Bars: Place the baking pan in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly. Once done, turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake in the oven for an additional 15 minutes.

              Cool and Chill: Remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature for at least an hour. Then transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to set completely.

                Slice and Serve: Once chilled, lift the cheesecake out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into bars and serve chilled, drizzling any extra Nutella on top if desired.
