Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup whole milk, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10 cookies)

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk (adjust for desired icing consistency)

Extra Oreos for topping (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together warmed milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.

Knead Dough: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until it's smooth and elastic. Form it into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

Roll Out Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it onto a floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle (about 12x18 inches) with a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

Add Filling: Spread the softened cream cheese over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Evenly sprinkle the Oreo filling mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.

Roll Up: Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seams to seal. Cut the roll into 12 equal pieces.

Arrange Rolls: Place the cinnamon roll pieces in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with a towel and let them rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake: Once the rolls have risen, bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Make Icing: While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner consistency if desired.

Top Rolls: When the cinnamon rolls are done baking, let them cool slightly before drizzling the icing over the top. Crush a few additional Oreos to sprinkle on top for added crunch and flavor.

Serve: Enjoy warm and watch them disappear!
