½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup all-purpose flour

⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

¼ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon instant espresso powder

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini cupcake liners.

    Melt the Butter: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until completely liquid. Remove it from heat and let it cool slightly.

      Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk together until well blended. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and instant espresso powder. This helps to eliminate any lumps and ensures an even distribution of the cocoa and coffee flavors.
