1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped (about 15-20)

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 teaspoon sea salt (plus extra for sprinkling)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet (approximately 11x17 inches) with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Toast the Pretzels: Spread the mini pretzels evenly on the baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until they are lightly toasted. Remove and let cool while preparing the caramel.

      Make the Caramel: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the unwrapped caramel candies and heavy cream. Stir constantly until the caramels are fully melted and the mixture is smooth. If desired, add in vanilla extract for an extra layer of flavor.
