Ingredients

1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 bell pepper (red, yellow, or green), sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

1 medium carrot, julienned

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Cooked jasmine rice or quinoa (for serving)

Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a medium bowl, mix together the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Ensure that the beef is well-coated and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

Prepare the Veggies: While the beef is marinating, chop all the vegetables as described. It’s important to have everything ready to go since stir-frying cooks quickly.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Toss in the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring quickly for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add Vegetables: Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, snap peas, and carrots to the pan. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are vibrant and crisp-tender.

Combine and Heat Through: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir everything together and adjust seasoning if needed. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Serve: Spoon the savory beef and vegetable stir-fry over bowls of jasmine rice or quinoa. Top with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for extra flavor and crunch.

Enjoy: Dig into your delicious Savory Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry Bowl and savor the flavors!
