1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Juice of 1 lemon

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1/2 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Prepare the Broccoli: In a large skillet, bring water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.

    Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic, red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

        Combine Ingredients: Return the shrimp to the skillet, along with the blanched broccoli. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Toss everything together to coat in the garlic butter mixture, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
