Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut the salmon into bite-sized chunks, about 1-2 inches each.

Season the Salmon: In a large bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Add the salmon pieces to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss everything together until the salmon is well-coated with the seasoning mix.

Pan-Sear the Salmon: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the seasoned salmon pieces in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).

Glaze the Salmon: Reduce the heat to low, then drizzle honey and lemon juice over the cooked salmon bites. Gently toss to coat evenly, allowing the glaze to caramelize slightly for about 1 minute.

Serve: Remove the skillet from the heat and plate the spicy Cajun salmon bites. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra pop of flavor.
