Ingredients

For the Pizza Base:

2 large flour tortillas

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

For the Beef Mixture:

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1/4 cup water

For the Pizza Toppings:

1 cup refried beans (canned or homemade)

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)

1/4 cup sour cream (for drizzling)

Fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Oven and Beef:

    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

      - In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and stir in taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

        Prepare the Tortillas:

          - Brush one side of each flour tortilla lightly with olive oil. Place one tortilla oil-side down on a baking tray.

            Layer the Ingredients:

              - Spread an even layer of refried beans over the tortilla on the baking tray.

                - Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture over the beans.

                  - Spread a layer of tomato sauce on top.

                    - Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded Mexican cheese blend.

                      Add the Second Tortilla:

                        - Place the second tortilla on top of the layers (oil-side up), creating a pizza-style structure.

                          Bake the Pizza:

                            - Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the tortillas are crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                              Top and Serve:

                                - Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Top with diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped green onions, if desired.

                                  - Drizzle sour cream on top and garnish with fresh cilantro, if you like.

                                    Cut and Enjoy:

                                      - Use a sharp pizza cutter to slice into quarters or eighths, serve warm, and enjoy your Taco Bell-inspired Mexican Pizza!
