4 everything bagels (fresh or day-old)

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

1 tablespoon dried minced onion

1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    Slice the Bagels: Using a sharp knife, cut each bagel into thin slices, about 1/4-inch thick. You can slice them into rounds or in half, depending on your preference.

      Prepare the Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried minced onion, sea salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.

        Coat the Bagel Slices: In a large mixing bowl, toss the bagel slices with the olive oil until they are well coated. Then sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the bagel slices, tossing again to ensure each slice is evenly coated with the spices.

          Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned bagel slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overlapping for even baking.

            Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the bagel chips are golden brown and crispy. Be sure to check halfway through and give them a gentle flip for even browning.
