4 everything bagels (fresh or stale)

¼ cup olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

½ teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier clean-up.

    Slice the Bagels: Using a sharp knife, slice each bagel into thin rounds (about ¼ inch thick). Aim for uniformity to ensure even cooking.

      Make the Oil Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sea salt, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.

        Coat the Bagel Slices: Place the sliced bagels into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the oil mixture over the bagel slices, ensuring they are well-coated. Use your hands or a spatula to toss them gently, making sure all slices get some oil and seasoning.

          Arrange on Baking Sheet: Lay the coated bagel slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overlapping to allow for even toasting.
